Daily Zoom session: Our sound this week is 'ur' as in fur. This is a Black Cat sound. We will be watching the Monster Phonics Ur song 'Burp in the Church' today and reading some 'ur' words! We will also have a quick recap of our Tricky Words from last week: she, we, and they.

 

Writing:

'On the farm' themed writing activity:

Watch and sing with the Old McDonald’s Farm video with Mr Tumble (below in resources).

Then write a sentence similar to; ‘I can see a cow’ ‘I can see a pig’ ‘I can see a big sheep.’

Draw the animal you saw below your sentence in your exercise book.

Use the sound mat and Phase 2 Tricky Word Mat to help you sound out your words and find your tricky words.
