St Richard's SEN Policy is currently being drafted in line with the 2014 SEN Code of Practice.  A consultation meeting for parents will be held next term during which the new legislation will also be discussed.

Welcome to St Richard's Catholic Primary School!

St Richard's is a Catholic Voluntary Aided Primary School under the trusteeship of the Diocese of Southwark.

It is a well-equipped school attractively situated in Castle Avenue, a pleasant residential area, in close proximity to Dover Castle and within easy reach of the town centre.  It has fairly spacious grounds, consisting of a large playground, a playing field and an adventure playground suitable for infant and junior children.

As it is the only Catholic Primary School in Dover, children come from different parishes.  The school caters for boys and girls of 4+ to 11 years in the East Kent Area of the Kent Education Authority.

Our main aim is to help parents to educate their children and to give the pupils a spiritual, moral, intellectual, physical, emotional and social training, based on sound Catholic principles.  St Richard's aims to be a friendly community where all connected with the school will feel welcome. Children of all beliefs are treated with care and consideration and gospel values are respected.

If you would like to find out more please contact Mrs Robinson at reception to arrange a visit.
